BCHL - Penticton Vees vs Surrey Eagles
It’s a battle of division leaders as Surrey visits Penticton in the BCHL. Halfway through the third period Penticton looked free and clear when Troy Stecher scored to put the Vees ahead 2-0.
Surrey kept up the fight and Brady Shaw scored twice, the last with only 12 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime. In double overtime Vees captain Stecher scored his second goal of the game, to earn the win and first star honors.
