Our second nominee for ‘Best Song or Parody’ video is from steezybeezyflo. ‘Chucky Slick – Living The Dream’ blew up on hockeytube.net when we posted it in March. Since then it has become our second most popular video on the site and it has over a quarter of a million views. Although not as slick (no pun intended) as some of the other nominees this video really struck a note with hockey players. We have spent a number of years around junior hockey teams and have to say the song, the video and the cast of characters really captures the sub culture of junior hockey. It truly is an anthem and only a few beauties will get it!
Steezy has put out 12 videos and is closing on 500-thousand views, not bad for a relative newcomer to the online video game. Look forward to another ‘Hockey’ song from these guys! Keep up the great work!
