Here are some hockey highlights from the University of Wisconsin Badgers. Led be former Salmon Arm Silverback star Mark Zengerle the Badgers had a tough season finishing in 10th place in the WCHA hockey division with an 11-15-and-2 mark.
Number 3 ranked Denver would move past No. 10 seed Wisconsin, 3-2, in game three of the first round of the WCHA Playoffs. With that win, the Pioneers advanced to the WCHA Final Five Tournament in St. Paul, Minn., for the fifth consecutive year.
