A frustrated Claude Giroux, in the dying seconds of the second period in Newark, N.J. laid a nasty hit on the Devils’ Dainus Zubrus. Giroux, who didn’t leave his skates but targeted the head of Dainius Zubrus. Giroux got 2 minutes for an illegal check to head. The Devils rally from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Philadelphia Flyers 4-2 Sunday night and take a 3-1 lead in their second-round playoff series.
